Anatolian Pyrenees

The Anatolian Pyrenees is a gentle giant who is great with children. This is The Anatolian Pyrenees is generally cream colored with some brown or black markings, however, the fur make-up and coloring can range greatly, depending on which parent had the stronger genetics.

The Anatolian Pyrenees is a newer cross composed from two older and long-beloved breeds. They originated for dog parents who need a fun-loving but boundlessly loyal dog. This is a cross between two livestock guardian breeds: the Anatolian Shepherd along with the Great Pyrenees and has the best character traits from both parent breeds.

They are bred from working dogs and make amazing protectors. They can be strong-willed and need stimulation and routine exercise. Without proper stimulation, the Anatolian Pyrenees will grow bored and frustrated — regardless of how much love there is for them.

LGD puppies

We breed and raise pure AKC registered Anatolian Shephards. They make amazing guardian and working dogs.

The parents are active working dogs on our farm and puppies are exposed and raised with all our livestock and animals including cattle, goats, chickens, rabbits and cats.

In order to raise a successful guardian, training is required. Though their breeds are natural guardians, they still require training to assure they are bonded with livestock and know who is to be protected vs. who is an intruder. Close supervision is required throughout the puppy stage around small livestock, especially birds.
